Cancellation Policy
1. Cancellation by the Customer
Domestic Travellers
More than 30 days before departure: 75% refund of the total package cost, minus processing fees.
15 to 30 days before departure: 50% refund of the total package cost.
7 to 14 days before departure: 25% refund of the total package cost.
Less than 7 days before departure: No refund will be provided.
International Travellers
More than 30 days before departure: 75% refund of the total package cost, minus processing fees.
15 to 30 days before departure: 45% refund of the total package cost.
7 to 14 days before departure: 20% refund of the total package cost.
Less than 7 days before departure: No refund will be provided.
2. Cancellation by Ek Bharat Yatra
Full Cancellation (Domestic & International)
If Ek Bharat Yatra cancels a trip due to unavoidable circumstances (natural disasters, weather disruptions, government restrictions), guests will receive a 100% refund or a rescheduling option.
Partial Cancellation
For cancellations due to Force Majeure (political unrest, pandemics, etc.), a partial refund will be provided after deducting applicable charges including GST and transaction fees.
3. Refund Policy
Refunds are processed within 7-14 business days from cancellation request.
Refunds will be credited to the original mode of payment.
Processing fees, convenience charges, and bank transaction costs are non-refundable.
Partial cancellations (such as one member from a group) will be evaluated individually.
4. No-Show & Early Departure Policy
No-Show: No refund for failure to join the trip without prior notification.
Early Departure: No refund for unused services if the customer leaves the tour early.
5. Rescheduling & Modifications
Domestic Travellers
Date change requests must be made at least 20 days before departure.
Rescheduling is subject to availability and may involve additional charges.
Requests should be emailed to info@ekbharatyatra.com or coordinated with the booking agent.
International Travellers
Date change requests must be made at least 25 days before departure.
Rescheduling is subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
Requests should be emailed to info@ekbharatyatra.com.
Note: All reschedule requests are subject to feasibility and final approval by Ek Bharat Yatra.
6. Special Circumstances
In case of medical emergencies or unavoidable personal situations, refund/rescheduling requests will be considered individually.
Supporting documentation such as a doctor’s certificate or hospital records may be required.
7. Charter Aviation Packages – Terms & Conditions
Applicable Laws
All helicopter and air tours abide by the Carriage by Air Act, 1972 and Civil Aviation Ministry regulations.
COVID-19 Regulations
Passengers must follow government-mandated COVID guidelines. Non-compliance may result in denied boarding without refund.
Baggage & Fitness Guidelines
Only 5 kg luggage per person is allowed in helicopters.
Passengers must be medically fit; carrying oxygen and woolens is recommended.
Fitness certificate from a doctor is advisable.
Limited network connectivity in remote areas; BSNL and Jio are usually available.
Booking & Weight Policy
Accurate passenger weight must be provided at booking. Discrepancies may result in cancellation without refund.
Max total weight for helicopter: 450 kg (for 6 passengers).
Infants under 2 years (below 12 kg) travel free; others are charged full fare.
Accommodation & Additional Charges
Accommodation at remote sites may be basic.
Excess baggage and extra ferry flights (in emergencies) are the passenger’s responsibility.
Weather Disruptions & Rescheduling
In case of bad weather, darshan may be attempted the next day.
If a dham cannot be visited due to weather, ₹20,000 per dham per seat will be refunded.
Rescheduling due to weather is subject to availability; 20% reschedule charge applies if requested over 15 days in advance; less than 15 days: treated as new booking, no refund for old booking.
Cancellation (Aviation Bookings)
Up to 30 days before journey: 45% cancellation charge.
Up to 20 days before journey: 75% cancellation charge.
Less than 14 days: No refund.
No-show: No refund.
25% service charge + utilized services apply on top of these charges.
Insurance & Liability
Ek Bharat Yatra does not provide travel insurance. Guests must arrange their own.
Guests are responsible for all baggage and personal belongings.
8. Payment Terms
50% of the package cost is required at the time of booking.
The remaining 50% must be paid 15 days prior to departure.
Full payment is required before travel.
9. Jurisdiction
All disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of Delhi courts.
