Dehradun
3 Hours Before Flight Time
The journey begins with a pickup from Dehradun airport or railway station, scheduled for the day before the Chardham Yatra departure. Guests will then be transported to their hotel. In the evening, at 20:30 hours, our team will provide a comprehensive briefing about the Chardham Yatra. During this briefing, a duffle bag will be distributed for packing essential items, with a maximum weight limit of 5 kg per person. Guests will enjoy an overnight stay in Dehradun, including dinner.
Please note: Our staff will weigh each pilgrim during the tour briefing, so it is important to attend.
Upon reaching Kharsali, passengers will be greeted by the ground staff and transferred to the Yamunotri temple via palkis or ponies. The trek from the helipad to the temple spans 6 kilometers, with the return journey by palki taking approximately 5 hours. After completing the darshan, passengers will return to the helipad for an overnight stay in Kharsali.
Harsil is renowned for its stunning beauty and is often referred to as mini-Switzerland. The Gangotri temple is located about 22 kilometers from the Harsil helipad, and the drive takes around 50 minutes. It is recommended that passengers head directly to the temple from the helipad, where our ground staff will assist with the darshan at Gangotri temple. After returning from the temple, passengers can enjoy lunch at the resort and relax, followed by a campfire in the evening. A visit to the nearby village for an evening stroll is also suggested, where guests can purchase authentic woolen items such as sweaters, shawls, and mufflers crafted by local tribal women.
Upon landing at the Kedarnath helipad, which is located 500 meters from the temple, passengers will have the opportunity to visit the temple for darshan. Following the visit, guests will return to their hotel for the night, with accommodations in either Guptkashi or Kedarnath.
After arriving at the Badrinath helipad, passengers can check into a hotel situated close to the temple. Our ground staff will be available to assist guests in their temple darshan. In the evening, a visit to Mana village is highly recommended, as it is the first village after the international border with China.
The highlight of this entire pilgrimage is the early morning Special Abhishek Puja at Badrinath temple, which is at your own expense. This sacred ceremony begins promptly at 4:30 AM and lasts for two hours. Participants will have the unique opportunity to sit inside the temple and witness the deity’s adornment up close. After the darshan, guests will return to the hotel for breakfast before flying to Dehradun. Upon arrival at the Dehradun helipad, you will be transferred to the Airport or Railway station. This concludes the helicopter tour, leaving you with cherished memories.
This marks the end of the Chardham Yatra.
